Geological Overview
Mookaite is a highly unique silicified radiolarite sourced exclusively from the Kennedy Ranges near Mooka Creek in Western Australia. Geologically, it is a biogenic sedimentary rock formed from the skeletal remains of microscopic radiolaria. Over millennia, groundwater heavily saturated with silica (SiO2) and iron oxides percolated through these fossilized beds, resulting in a dense, microcrystalline chert with a hardness of 6.5 to 7 on the Mohs scale.
Aesthetic Appeal
These all-natural, unstabilized bracelets present a vivid, opaque spectrum of earthy Australian tones, ranging from deep hematite-rich burgundy and magenta to limonite-infused mustard yellows and creams. Polished to a high vitreous lustre, the smooth beads showcase stark, contrasting boundary lines and organic brecciated patterns inherent to the parent matrix.
Metaphysical Properties
Energetically, Mookaite is heavily anchored to the Root and Solar Plexus chakras. It is widely utilized by practitioners as a supreme grounding stone that channels raw earth energy. It is believed to foster deep environmental awareness, encourage emotional versatility, and stabilize the user during periods of profound transition.
Rarity & Collectibility
Authentic Mookaite is a strict single-locality mineral. While commercial-grade tumbled stone is readily available, securing high-luster, structurally sound lapidary beads that are entirely free of artificial resins or stabilization is increasingly difficult. They are a premium wearable staple for the discerning collector.
Collector’s & Display Notes
As these pieces are completely natural and un-altered, they require standard lapidary care. Keep them isolated from harsh chemical cleaners to preserve the integrity of the natural surface polish. Strung on durable elastic, these pieces are designed for a standard wrist circumference of approximately 17.5 cm (7 inches).

Merci.
I love this bracelet... the colours are even better than I expected. The colors are very rich and beautiful... goes well with many other bracelets.
