Geological Overview

Rainbow Moonstone is a feldspar mineral closely related to Labradorite ($Na,Ca)Al_{1-2}Si_{3-2}O_8$. Its shimmering effect is caused by light scattering between microscopic layers of albite and orthoclase minerals. The black inclusions frequently found in these specimens are Black Tourmaline (Schorl), which adds a grounding element to the stone's high vibration.

Metaphysical Properties

Intuition, Cycles, and Protection.
Connected to the energy of the Moon and the Divine Feminine, Rainbow Moonstone is a stone of "inner growth." It reminds us that everything is part of a cycle of change. The inclusion of Black Tourmaline adds a layer of psychic protection, grounding the ethereal energy and keeping the user centered.

Collector's & Display Notes

To best view the potential blue flash (adularescence), display these hearts in an area with natural, indirect sunlight. Rotate the stone to find the angle where the light dances across the crystalline layers.

Condition & Authenticity

Authentic / Natural / Polished.
These are 100% natural stones. Surface fissures and internal fracture lines are characteristic of feldspar minerals and are necessary for the light refraction that creates the moonstone sheen. They are not cracks or defects.
