Bold, vibrant, and unapologetically intense. These Bumblebee Jasper hearts feature distinct banding of bright sulfur yellow, pumpkin orange, and volcanic black/grey. Found only inside the volcanic vents of Mount Papandayan in Indonesia, this stone is a true geological marvel.
Weighing approximately 90g, these hearts are striking display pieces that bring a burst of energy and color to any collection.
This listing is for one Intuitively Selected heart. Your piece will be chosen to match the vivid, banded patterns shown.
Geological Overview
Bumblebee Jasper is technically a sedimentary rock, not a true jasper. It forms in volcanic fumaroles (steam vents) where sulfur, anhydrite, and volcanic ash mix together. The bright yellow layers are pure Sulfur, while the orange comes from Arsenic minerals (Realgar/Orpiment), and the black is volcanic pyrite or manganese.
Metaphysical Properties
Transformation and Confidence.
Associated with the Solar Plexus and Sacral Chakras, Bumblebee Jasper is a stone of "impossible" achievement. Just as the bumblebee was once thought to be aerodynamically unable to fly, this stone encourages you to overcome limitations, embrace change, and manifest your creative will.
Collector's & Display Notes
Safety Note: Because this stone contains sulfur and trace arsenic minerals, it is safe to handle but should never be used in elixirs or placed in water. Wash hands after handling raw pieces.
