Geological Overview

Charoite is a rare, complex silicate mineral with the chemical formula K(Ca,Na)2Si4O10(OH,F)·H2O. It has a monoclinic crystal system and is found exclusively at a single locality worldwide: the Murunskii Massif in the Sakha Republic (Yakutia) of Siberia, Russia. It formed through the process of contact metamorphism, where alkali-rich syenite intruded into limestone deposits, resulting in the unique chemical alteration that produces this remarkable stone.

Aesthetic Appeal

Graded at an exceptional AA (Premium Collector Grade), these bracelets exhibit the intense, swirling purple and lilac hues synonymous with top-tier Charoite. The spherical beads are highly polished, revealing a striking, pearly chatoyancy—a silky, optical reflection caused by its dense, fibrous micro-crystalline structure. The vivid purples are naturally contrasted by striking black inclusions of Aegirine and pale inclusions of Microcline feldspar, offering an authentic, undyed, and all-natural visual texture.

Metaphysical Properties

Energetically, Charoite is widely regarded as a stone of deep transformation. It is utilized to transmute negative emotions, such as fear or stress, into a grounded, usable energy. By connecting the heart and crown chakras, it is believed to encourage spiritual insight while maintaining physical presence and resilience.

Rarity & Collectibility

Because Charoite is mined in only one remote location on Earth, subject to extreme Siberian weather conditions that severely limit extraction windows, high-quality material is increasingly scarce. The large bead diameters available in this collection (ranging from 13 mm / 0.51 in to 16 mm / 0.63 in) represent a substantial volume of premium rough material, making these wearable specimens highly desirable within the collector market.

Collector’s & Display Notes

This listing is an intuitive pick, meaning our team will carefully select your bracelet from the size tier you choose. While natural variations in the matrix inclusions and swirl patterns will occur, the AA grade guarantees high chatoyancy and colour saturation across all pieces. To best appreciate the fibrous optical effects of the Charoite, wear or view the bracelet under direct natural sunlight.
