Geological Overview

Moonstone is a variety of Orthoclase Feldspar. This specific variety is often found in the same mines as Peach Moonstone but lacks the heavy hematite inclusions that turn the stone orange. Instead, it displays the natural, creamy color of the feldspar mineral with a silky, vitreous luster.
