It naturally co-occurs with white calcite (CaCO₃) and is frequently speckled with metallic golden pyrite (FeS₂), creating its signature starry-night appearance. It typically forms in crystalline marble as a result of contact metamorphism.

These are all-natural, polished and faceted Lapis Lazuli beads.
