Geological Overview

Lepidolite is a lilac-gray or rose-colored member of the mica group of minerals. It is the most common lithium-bearing mineral on Earth. Its glittery appearance comes from "books" of tiny, flake-like crystals that reflect light. It is often found in pegmatites alongside Tourmaline and Kunzite.
