Like a miniature world trapped in stone, these Moss Agate hearts feature swirling green dendrites suspended in snowy white chalcedony. What sets this collection apart is the presence of natural druzy vugs—sparkling crystalline caves that open up on the surface of the stone, revealing the raw quartz growth inside.

These are Exact Pick specimens. You will receive the specific heart you select from the dropdown menu.

Geological Overview

Moss Agate is a semi-precious gemstone formed from silicon dioxide. It is technically a form of Chalcedony. The "moss" is not organic material, but rather mineral inclusions (usually iron or manganese) that grew into dendritic patterns. The open "caves" seen in these specimens are geode pockets where the silica did not fully fill the void, allowing crystals to terminate freely.

Metaphysical Properties

Growth and New Beginnings.
Moss Agate is known as the gardener's stone. It carries a refreshing, biophilic energy that connects the holder to the earth. It is often used to refresh the soul, encourage abundance, and help one see the beauty in the present moment.

Collector's & Display Notes

Texture Note: These hearts are polished smooth but retain their natural open caves (vugs). These are not chips or damage; they are the natural geological structure of the geode.
