Geological Overview
These hearts are carved from 100% natural Citrine, a rare yellow variety of Quartz. Unlike the common heat-treated stones on the market, these specimens from the Democratic Republic of the Congo owe their golden-champagne hue to natural irradiation and trace amounts of aluminum or iron within the silicon dioxide (SiO2) crystal lattice. Formed in pegmatite veins, this material often exhibits a "smoky" transition, characteristic of authentic Citrine.
Aesthetic Appeal
Each heart features a sophisticated palette ranging from pale lemon to deep honey-gold. The polish reveals a complex interior world of silvery veils, light-catching fractures, and subtle phantoms. The soft, rounded contours of the heart shape contrast beautifully with the raw, energetic depth of the natural inclusions.
Metaphysical Properties
Known as "The Merchant’s Stone," Citrine is a powerful tool for manifestation and personal will. Because these Congolese specimens are natural and untreated, they are believed to hold a more potent, grounded frequency. They are primary stones for the Solar Plexus Chakra, encouraging confidence and dissipating negative energy without absorbing it.
Rarity & Collectibility
Natural Citrine represents only a tiny fraction of global Quartz deposits. Congolese material is particularly prized for its unique "Kundalini" growth patterns. As mining exports from the DRC can be inconsistent, high-clarity carving-grade material remains a premium commodity.
Collector’s & Display Notes
These hearts are ideal for "pocket stones" or low-profile shelf displays. They pair exceptionally well with darker minerals like Smoky Quartz to highlight their golden transparency.
