Orange Calcite is a calcium carbonate mineral ($CaCO_3$) commonly found in Mexico. Its rich citrus color comes from hematite inclusions within the crystal structure. It is a soft mineral (Mohs Hardness of 3), which allows it to take a smooth, almost liquid-looking polish.
