Geological Overview
Orca Agate is a variety of Agate (Cryptocrystalline Quartz) found exclusively in Madagascar. Its unique coloration comes from the crystallization of silica in ancient volcanic pockets, where the "spots" or bands formed cooling patterns that mimic the ocean waves.
Metaphysical Properties
Communication and Peace.
Linked to the Throat Chakra, Orca Agate is known as the "Stone of Forgiveness." It is believed to help heal deep emotional wounds, facilitate honest self-communication, and bring a wash of peaceful, marine energy to the holder.
Collector's & Display Notes
These hearts have a vitreous, glassy polish. They look exceptional when backlit or placed near a window, where the translucent grey sections can glow with a subtle blue hue.
Condition & Authenticity
Authentic / Natural / Polished.
These are 100% natural stones. Small crystalline vugs, "eyes," or surface divots are part of the natural agate growth and are not defects.
