This material is a "Pegmatite Mix," where Pink Tourmaline (7 - 7.5 Mohs) grows alongside Lepidolite (a lithium-rich mica) and Quartz. The silvery-grey sheen visible in the beads is the Lepidolite, while the translucent white areas are high-purity Quartz. Because these beads are heavily silicified (fused with quartz), they are significantly more durable for daily wear than pure mica stones, preserving their silky lustre over time.
