Red Jasper is an opaque, microcrystalline variety of Quartz. Its distinct deep red color comes from high iron inclusions (Hematite). These particular specimens often exhibit "brecciation"—where the jasper was naturally fractured and healed by clear quartz over millions of years, creating beautiful lightning-like veins.
