The Story of the Stone
Mined from the same "Van Gogh" deposit as our museum-grade towers, these bracelets represent the top 5% of Charoite production. Unlike commercial-grade beads which can appear flat, pale, or matte, this AAA Chatoyant Grade collection was strictly selected for its rolling, silky luster. Each bead is a swirling world of deep violet, often accented by the rare golden starbursts of Tinaksite. This is not just jewelry; it is wearable geology from the remote Murun Massif of Siberia.
Geological Overview
Charoite is a rare potassium-calcium silicate found in only one location on Earth: The Murun Massif in the Sakha Republic, Russia. It is a metamorphic rock formed by the alteration of limestone by alkali-rich syenite intrusions. The result is a uniquely fibrous mineral that naturally forms swirling, interlocking patterns. These beads showcase the "Royal Purple" saturation—the highest quality tier—free from the heavy grey quartz or excessive black matrix often found in lower-grade material.
Aesthetic Appeal: The "Silk" Factor
The defining characteristic of this AAA batch is Chatoyancy. When you turn your wrist in the light, the purple surface ripples with a pearlescent, "cat's eye" shimmer. The texture is smooth and vitreous (glass-like), with patterns that look like oil paint mixed on a palette. While the primary color is a rich jammy violet, you will find artistic inclusions of black Aegirine and golden Tinaksite that define the natural authenticity of the stone.
Metaphysical Properties
Known as the "Stone of Transformation," Charoite is the premier crystal for the Violet Ray.
-
Overcoming Fear: It helps transmute deep-seated fears and anxieties into acceptance and peace, allowing one to navigate change with grace.
-
Service & Connection: Known to open the heart to altruism, encouraging the wearer to share their unique gifts with the world.
-
Grounding the Spiritual: Unlike many high-vibration stones that can feel "floaty," Charoite grounds high-frequency spiritual energy into the physical body, making it practical for daily wear.
Sizing Guide: Which Bead Size is Right for You?
We offer this collection in six distinct sizes. Choosing the right millimeter (mm) depends on your personal style and how you intend to wear the piece.
-
7mm – 8mm (The Everyday Classic):
Profile: Delicate, lightweight, and subtle.
Best For: Daily wear, office environments, or "stacking" multiple bracelets together. If you have a smaller wrist or prefer jewelry that doesn't feel heavy, this is your choice.
-
9mm – 10mm (The Visual Standard):
Profile: Substantial and noticeable.
Best For: This is the "Goldilocks" size—large enough to clearly see the swirling patterns of the Charoite, but comfortable enough for all-day wear. It has a nice weight without being bulky.
-
11.5mm – 13mm (The Statement Piece):
Profile: Bold, heavy, and museum-quality.
Best For: Collectors who want to showcase the geology. At this size, the beads act like mini-spheres, allowing for complex landscapes of Tinaksite and Aegirine to form within a single bead. These are conversation starters.
Condition & Authenticity
100% Natural Siberian Charoite. These beads are untreated, undyed, and unstabilized.
Condition Note: As Charoite is a fibrous mineral found with harder host rocks, natural surface texture is a sign of authenticity. You may see minor natural pitting or "dry" spots where the fibrous Charoite meets the silica matrix. This is not damage; it is the fingerprint of the stone's formation.
